If you're researching plant care, you've come to the right place. We specialise in creating stunning landscapes and gardens, and we want to help you keep your plants healthy and beautiful. Whether you're a new customer or a long-time client, we're here to provide you with tips on plant care and maintenance that will help your plants thrive.

Watering One of the most important things you can do to help your plants grow is to make sure they get enough water. Newly installed plants will need more water than established plants, so it's important to water them regularly, especially during hot and dry weather. Be sure to water the roots, not the leaves, and water deeply so that the water reaches the entire root system.
Fertilising Fertiliser can provide your plants with the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy. We recommend using a slow-release fertiliser that will provide a steady supply of nutrients over time. Follow the instructions on the package for how much to use and how often to apply it.
Pruning
Pruning is an important part of plant care that can help your plants grow fuller and healthier. It's a good idea to remove dead or damaged branches, as well as any branches that are crossing or rubbing against each other. This will help to prevent disease and promote healthy growth.

Mulching
Mulch can help to conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature. We recommend using a 2-3 inch layer of mulch around the base of your plants. Be sure to keep the mulch away from the stem or trunk of the plant to prevent rot.
Pest Control Pests can be a major problem for plants, especially newly installed ones. Keep an eye out for signs of insect damage, such as chewed leaves or holes in the foliage. If you notice any pests, we recommend using an insecticidal soap or horticultural oil to control the infestation.
We hope that these tips will help you take care of your new plants and gardens from MJ Landscapes & Maintenance. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're always here to help!
